On Friday October 8^th La Fayette Lodge held there regular Communication at the Menlo Park Veterans Home.  There was roughly 25 Members Present including 2 Brothers living in the home itself.  The meeting started at 7:30 PM and then went onto refreshment after conducting the business.  While on Refreshment there was a Lecture on WWII given by a Medic who served in the War.  The gentlemen also drew many pictures depicting soldiers and battle scenes of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge.  This was a great history lesson and a wonderful thing to have heard.  We then proceeded to close the lodge and ate dinner with our Brothers from the Veterans Home.  It was a wonderful night and a blessing to have had the meeting at the Veterans Home to allow our Brothers currently Living there to be apart of our meeting.
